This course will combine aspects of both Idiographic and Structured Clinical interviewing techniques/issues, including attention to mental status, DSM diagnosis, and family/social/medical history-taking. While an emphasis will be on active listening skills, mastering these effectively will help the interviewer prioritize means for gaining specific, needed information in the consultation period for evaluating a prospective adult psychotherapy client. 05/08/2023-08/20/2023
