24/SU Foundations of Doctoral Study (HOD-699-24SU1)
The Foundations of Doctoral Studies course introduces new students to the Doctoral journey in the Human and Organizational Development PhD Programs - Organizational Development and Change PhD and Human Development PhD.
Pre-New Student Orientation is designed to foster the development of a Community of Practice (Wenger, 2006) and introduce some key systems supports - Academic Technology, the Library, and Student Advising.
The New Student Orientation supports students in build understanding of key program aspects, meeting program core faculty and key staff members, it introduces foundations of inquiry. It provides a foundation for the courses that follow.
