25/SP Family Sys. Theory/Functioning (IECD-566-25SP2)
This course will provide students with information on developmental models and theoretical constructs involved in understanding various aspects of family functioning—especially parental development and the evolving parent-child relationship—and their impact during the child’s infancy and early childhood. Specific issues regarding families with a challenged child will be explored.
