ODL 506 - Capstone:
The Fielding ODL Capstone is a structured and supervised final project designed to help each student demonstrate their learning and development over the course of the entire master’s program by developing, implementing, and evaluating a planned organization development project.
During the Capstone Process, students will:
- apply program learning to a real-world scenario
- practice skills necessary to success as an OD practitioner
- offer value to a live client
- demonstrate knowledge and skills gained through the Masters in ODL program
- offer an final opportunity to reflect upon one's journey as an ODL practitioner
- identify next steps to continue that journey once the Fielding Masters in ODL program is complete
The Capstone project is divided into the following phases:
Idea → Agreement with Client → Proposal → Intervention → Write-Up
While this project will be limited in scope by available time and resources, these phases are designed to capture the essential elements of the Organization Development Engagement Cycle
